Get ready Geneva! La fête de la musique is a magical time in our city, where the streets practically sing along. From June 20th to 22nd, you’ll find live, FREE concerts of every genre imaginable, popping up all over town. 

The spotlight is shining bright on urban hiphop this year, with a whole crew of emerging artists ready to rock the stage. But don’t worry if hip hop isn’t your cup of tea – the festival features a huge diversity of music think everything from rock to classical music, traditional folk, techno, and everything else in between. There is something for everyone! Trust us when we say that the vibes are immaculate –  it’s definitely one of the most wonderful parts of the summer life here in Geneva. 

We highly recommend taking a look at the full program to map out the concerts you want to hit up, as there are over 500 events, big and small. But hey, we totally get it if that’s a bit overwhelming. That’s why we’ve done the research for you! We’ve curated all the events that we are personally stoked about, so you can just show up and enjoy the music.

Place de Neuve will transform into a huge dance floor, complete with DJ sets, lights, and the whole works. Worth it just for the vibes.

🛼🕺Roller Disco – Saturday 21 June @ 15:00 – 21:00

This is the first time that the roller disco will make an appearance at fête de la musique! Skates are available on site.

  Mairo is a Swiss rapper with Eritean and Indian roots. He just released his debut album in Feb, which has found success outside of Switzerland. His music reminds me a bit of rapper J. Cole, with the personal storytelling and thoughtful lyrics and smooth flow.

  Benjamin Epps is an up and coming French rapper that work the BET Hip Hop Award for Best International Flow.
